About Deutschtrainer

Lingut and Deutschtrainer

Lingut is the company. Deutschtrainer is Lingut's German learning and exam preparation product. Wherever you see either name — including the spelling “Lingut AI” — that is the relationship: one company, one product, at deutschtrainer.lingut.ai.

What Deutschtrainer does

• Complete German exam papers in the real format and timing, from A1 to C2
• AI grading of speaking and writing against the official band descriptors
• Reading and listening papers with an explanation for every question
• Grammar lessons and vocabulary practice generated from your own mistakes
• A readiness score per skill, so you know when to book the real exam
• An interface in German, English and Arabic

Who it is for

Independent learners preparing for a certificate, students preparing for university admission, professionals needing recognition of their qualifications, and language schools and institutes that want their classes to practise with graded feedback between lessons.

How the AI works

Speaking answers are transcribed and graded, writing is corrected sentence by sentence, and every score is broken down by the official criterion it belongs to, with the reason for each deduction. The aim is feedback you can check, not a number you have to trust.
