What is Deutschtrainer?

Deutschtrainer is Lingut’s German exam trainer. You practise for the Goethe-Zertifikat, telc, ÖSD or DSH with the real task types of the exam, get AI corrections explained in your mother language, and sit timed mock exams before the real one.

Which exams and levels can I prepare for?

Goethe-Zertifikat, telc, ÖSD and DSH, on CEFR levels A1 to C2. You choose the exam and level you’re aiming for, and your practice, feedback and readiness follow that choice. If a level isn’t open yet, the app tells you.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. The free plan gives you one exercise in each of the four skills and one full mock exam. You only pay if you decide to keep going.

How does the AI grade my writing and speaking?

Writing is graded against the official criteria of your exam and level, because Goethe, telc, ÖSD and DSH each mark differently. You see your mistakes marked, a corrected version, a better version and what to work on first. For speaking, your answer is transcribed and then assessed on grammar, vocabulary, fluency and whether you completed the task.

Can I get explanations in Arabic?

Yes. Set Arabic as your mother language and every explanation and piece of feedback is written in Arabic. The exam material stays in German, the way it will be on the day. The interface is available in English and German.

Will this help with my visa, residence permit or university application?

It prepares you for the exams those applications usually ask for. Deutschtrainer doesn’t issue certificates, so you still sit the official exam at an authorised test centre. Check with your embassy, authority or university which exam and level they accept.

Is there a time limit when I practise?

Only in mock exams. Practice and short drills have no timer and nothing is submitted automatically, so you can pause, leave and come back. Mock exams are timed section by section, like the real exam.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Deutschtrainer runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer, and your progress follows you between devices. It’s designed with slower mobile connections in mind.

What are credits?

Credits pay for AI actions like writing feedback, a speaking assessment or a dictionary lookup. Each action is charged once and listed in your credit history. Paid plans come with a set amount, and the 3 and 6 month plans add bonus credits.

How can I pay?

By card through Stripe.

Is Lingut only for German?

For now, yes. Deutschtrainer is the first Lingut trainer. Spanishtrainer and Englishtrainer are being built.

Your exam date is fixed. Your preparation shouldn’t be.

Tell Deutschtrainer which certificate you booked and the level you need. From then on, everything points at the day you sit in the exam room.
